P.S. In my opinion things are getting way out of hand. I just cannot believe that someone would put a poll on Facebook that asking should President Obama be killed. This is crazy. This is wrong. And it makes me worry about the safety of President Obama.

As I have said before, the right wing is out of control in the treatment of our President. It is being led by Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly and Micheal Medved and Bill Cunningham and Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter, Lynn Chaney and others. Even the crazy congressperson who called the President a “lier”.

People have shown up at events with guns. Pictures have came out with a watermelon patch in front of the White House. People want President Obama to show his “real” birth certificate to show he is a “real” American, and on and on. It has got way out of hand readers.

The KKK, Neo-Nazi’s and other hate groups have came out to show that they are not happy. They are not happy because the President of the United States is a black man. A African American.

If you are a supporter of our President, please say a prayer for President Obama and his family every night like I do. Because I am worried about his safety. Gordon Curvey

P.S. I am very happy to see Vanessa and Angela Simmons be role models for inner city young ladies in the U.S and the world.

Yes their father and Uncle Russell Simmons are very rich and gave them help to start there business PASTRY, that does not stop them from being role models.

Because sometimes kids of the rich and famous fall of the deep end and rebel and turn to drugs etc. Even commit suicide. But the Simmons seem to have there head on straight and they are heading toward being tremendous role models and business ladies.

And their TV show “Daddy’s Girl’s” is doing well in the ratings. It is a spin-off of “Run’s House” which has had a long run on MTV. It let’s us see the what is going on with the sisters in their daily lives and how they are running their business.

Some folks say Vanessa and Angela and the rest of the Simmons kids are spoiled brats. Born with a silver spoon in there mouths. I say I am proud of them. And a big shout out needs to go the parents of Vanessa and Angela, Rev Run and his wife for being great great parents. Keep up the good work!!! Gordon Curvey

P.S. I am happy for Odom that he is getting married Kardashian. She seems like a very down to earth lady and so does he. But the question is readers, how long will it last.

They have only been a item for a few months. And they are tying the knot? That is crazy. They both are living high profile lives. As a NBA player in L.A. and Khloe as a business lady in L.A. and Miami.

When you go out and date for only a few months and then decide to get married, most of the time it does not seem to last to long. And I predict, it will not last sorry to say.

I think it is just lust right now. I don’t know this of course but damn, they barely know each other folks.

P.S. Above link is to a story about rapper/actor Ludacris and his kind way of helping families etc. He even has a foundation that he and him mom runs. Helping kids in the inner city.

That is great what his foundation is doing. But having said that how bout this.

While Luda and his mom do great things for kids and families in need, he then gets on stage and raps about what he wants a lady to do to a certain part of his lower body and uses the “f” word and “n” a thousand times during a show.

I say to you readers, what is up with that? Luda wants to call himself a “role model” for what he does in the community etc, but then turns around and uses terrible speech in front of kids!! With plenty of what he wants to do to lady and what he wants a lady to do to him. That happened at this years KUBE 93 Summer Jam. It was a outrage in my opinion. You do that type of performance when kids ARE NOT in the crowd Luda.

When a artist comes on Music Inner City TV I let them know there is no “N” word or “N” word. And on the videos I do not want it there too.

Yo Luda please don’t call yourself a role model unless you tighten up your speech in your performances that has a lot of kids in the audience. That is NOT a role model. Let’s keep it real bro. Gordon Curvey

P.S. I hope and pray that Whitney Houston can keep herself together and stay away from the weed and coke because she is a flat out legend and I want to continue to hear her great voice.

It seems since she FINALLY left that knucklehead Bobby Brown, she is getting back to the old Whitney. A very beautiful and talented African American female.

I know she was deeply in love with Brown but the bottom line is, the brotha was holding her back from her legendary career. A lot of years went by without a Houston cd or concert. Now we can enjoy her again. As a fan of hers, I am very very happy.

I hope Houston just did not go on O’s show to sell cd’s. I hope we will hear from her in the months to come talking to kids about the dangers of drugs etc. This is what I hope.

I watched Part 1 of the interview on Oprah and she really opened up about her past. It was a great interview. One of Oprah’s best I have seen. Stay up Whitney!!! We all love you!!! Gordon Curvey

P.S. Let me say this about rapper Kanye West. He is a VERY talented producer and performer. This is for sure. One of the best in the game.

What he did last night to talented young country singer Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Awards was flat out TERRIBLE AND WRONG!!! I was shocked at what he did. That should not have happened.

I was shocked as was Taylor, the crowd and millions watching on TV. Shout out to Beyonce for what she did for Taylor after she won for “Best Video” I have lost all respect for West for that punk move he pulled on Taylor. That should not have happened to Taylor. Wrong is wrong and West was WRONG!!!

I was watching the President’s speech yesterday on health care when all of a sudden a man yelled out “You lie!” during President Obama’s speech. It was Congressman Joe Wilson. Of course a right wing Republican.

The President had to stop his speech. He was shocked, I was shocked. I ask you readers have things gone to far as far as the attacks on our President? I SAY YES!!!

The right wing is out of control. They are pulling everything out against our President even shouting during a very important speech! This is crazy. This is uncalled for. This should not happen.

Fox News led by Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly are feeding the right wing frenzy against President Obama. They are CONSTANTLY talking down our President each and every day on TV and radio.

Then you also have Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh and Micheal Medved and Michelle Malkin and Bill Cunningham and others on right wing radio blasting our President each and everyday. Calling him a “radical” and saying he had “radical friends” like Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright and others.

Calling him a “socialist” and other negative names. And also helping to promote right wing led “tea parties” where right wing folks gather by the thousands to protest against President Obama.

These folks are very angry and mad at our President. Some are coming to these meetings with guns folks!!! GUNS!!! What in the world is going on???

Hannity and Beck and others are saying NOTHING about this. Nothing about the Congressman shouting “you lie” during his speech. They are to busy putting down President Obama. This is crazy!! They are on a MISSION AGAINST PRESIDENT OBAMA!!! They are helping to bring hate groups out against our President.

Folks all this is happening sorry to say because of this. And it is the bottom line. It is because President Barack Obama is our first African American President. A smart, intelligent and now powerful African American who is the leader of America. And has a strong and very intelligent and beautiful African American wife in Michelle and also beautiful young kids also.

What Joe Wilson did at President Obama’s speech was a TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. PERIOD!!!! He did what he did because the Republicans are out of control against President Obama. It is out of control.

I am concerned about the protection of our President. I say a prayer every night for the safety of President Obama and his family. Gordon Curvey

P.S. President Obama spoke to kids today about the importance of a good education and staying in school. It was a GREAT speech. To me one of his best because the subject is so important.

I am just wondering why Republicans and folks on the right and parents had a huge problem with the President Of The United States speaking to the kids about education? What was the problem readers?

For certain parents to be upset about the President’s speech is beyond crazy and ridiculous!!

Kids need to hear from someone as important as the President. Because he truly cares for the youth. No matter what color they are.

He wanted to let them no that without the education he received he would not be in the position he is in as the President.

P.S. A big shout out to Lebron James for going overseas to promote the game I love so much and that is the game of basketball.

Yes football and baseball are very popular sports, but in my mind those sports do not have the worldwide appeal like basketball has.

Take away the fact that James did not shake hands with Orlando after they where taken out last season, James has been a big time role model who does a lot of things in the inner cities of America and now all over the world.

With all the negative news in the media with African American sports athletes, I want to bring more positive stories here on Music Inner City News Magazine.

There is to many negative stories in the media about African Americans and people of color. Guys and gals like Tori Hunter, CeCe Sabithia, Alonzo Mourning, Shaguille O’Neal, Seattle’s own Jamal Crawford and Nate Robinson, Derek Jeter, Lisa Leslie, Bobby Engram, Tiger Woods, Venus and Serena Williams and many more are doing positive things in the community that do not get mentioned.

Let’s see what James is going to do after next season because he will be a free agent. G.C.

P.S. I just watched a so called interview with singer Chris Brown and his mom and lawyer on Larry King on CNN and was real disappointed.

Maybe I expected to much. I wanted to hear more. I wanted to see that Brown was very very sorry to what he did to Rihanna. I did not see much emotion from Brown. Their was more emotion from his mom than from Chris.

Brown was Mr. Cool. I wanted to see Chris hug his mom when Larry asked her about her own problems in past relationships and she started to cry. Brown just sat there.

Larry did his best to get some concrete answers from Chris but it did not happen. It seems King just gave up on the tough questions knowing he was not going to get the answer he wanted. And I wanted to by the way.

Brown said he does not remember the incident. He said he does not remember beating Rihanna’s face so bad she looked like a boxer after a 10 round beating. Yo Chris……….THAT’S BS!!!!

I have not played any of Brown’s music videos since the incident. I do not know when I will play another one. I am very disappointed in the actions of Chris Brown against Rihanna. It will take me awhile before I get over his actions. Gordon Curvey
