P.S. It seems singers Toni Braxton and Trey Songz may be a new item and if so that is great. Because that shows that even if Braxton may be old enough to be his mom, love is love and if they are a couple I wish them luck. Look at Mariah and Cannon and they seem to be doing O.K. right? P.S. In the back of my mind I knew something like this might pop up about Tigers Woods and his wife getting into a argument and not a traffic accident. Did you guys feel the same?

The icon getting into a traffic accident at 2:30am in the morning? That did not sound right to me. I knew it had to be something else. IF the TMZ story is true what will this do the rep of Woods?

Micheal Jordan, Liberian James, Ali and Woods are the most famous sports stars in the world. Woods has made about a BILLION dollars in earning from winning events to his endorsements. And he is only 33 years old.

He does a lot for inner city kids all over the world with his Tiger Woods Foundation and his school for kids to help them get a good education.

I hope the TMZ story is not true. If it is, I hope Tiger and his wife can work things out. By the way, how in the HELL does TMZ come up with all the inside information all the time? I am amazed at this. G.C.

P.S. Those clowns who went into the White House uninvited was a stupid and careless thing that happened and I am upset about it!! This kind of crap should NEVER EVER EVER EVER HAPPEN!!!

The question is how did it happen? Why did it happen? I REFUSE TO EVEN USE THESE FOOLS NAMES HERE ON MY SITE!! This situation could have been a dangerous situation readers!!!

Who knows what could have happened. They could have spiked the President’s drink or someone else. They could have grabbed a knife and stabbed the President or Vice-President. This situation was no joke!!! But I have seen folks on CNN and MSNBC and of course the Obama Haters Network, Fox News laughing about this!!! THIS IS NOT FUNNY!!!!

With all the threats against President Obama who is our first African American President, how can these clowns get into this event uninvited?? I just cannot get over this story. And it makes me angry and it makes me worry about the safety of President Obama and his family!!! Gordon Curvey

P.S. I was here in Seattle checking out the 2009 AMA’s on TV and it was a great show. I was suppose to be their to cover the media room for “Music Inner City TV” here in my area on Comcast On-Demand but I have been fighting a real bad cold or flu. Not the swine flu. Just a real bad cold.

I enjoyed performances by Janet Jackson who sang some of her big hits and she was looking good too. And I really enjoyed Whitney Houston’s performance. It almost had me crying folks.

The late “King Of Pop” Micheal Jackson won a few awards and that was great. And Jay Z won a award. Dick Clark Productions always put on a first class program every year. Also the talented Taylor Swift won at the AMA’s.

Finally I have to say this. I did not like the performance of Adam Lambert. One thing for sure, he is very very talented singer. But I think his performance was over the top and I will leave it there. If you saw his performance, you will know what I mean.

P.S. I checked out comedian George Lopez new talk show this week on TBS and I liked what I saw.

Of course Lopez will have to work on his interviewing skills but hopefully he will get better.

His main thing is being a stand up comic. And one of the best I might say. And of course he had his sitcom on TV for years. So he is trying to do a whole new gig. But I think in time he will be OK. Hopefully better than Leno and Conan and Letterman etc.

I think Letterman does good interviews but the rest of the late night crowd are not good interviewers in my opinion with Leno the worst.

And Lopez is the first Latino fella to have his own talk show on major TV so a big shout out to him. In his first week he had guests like Kobe Bryant, Jamie Foxx and other big stars on the show and many other big stars are lined up in coming days.

I will be writing about comic Monique’s new talk show and as well as another comic’s new talk show Wanda Skyes. Both of them I have watched and I will give my views on them as well as singer’s Brian McKnight’s new show which I think is great!!

P.S. In my strong opinion Major League Baseball needs to do a far better job in reaching young inner city African American youth to play baseball. The RBI league is just not enough.

As you know the season just ended and the Yankees won their 27th title. But now here is the off season and what are the African American major league players doing to reach back in the inner city to get young kids interested in baseball?

How bout baseball camps in warm weather areas like Florida and Texas and Arizona and California for the kids during the winter? Or going to speak at schools and community center?

Here is a question readers. Besides Derek Jeter, do you any other African American MLB player doing any commercials on TV? Heck for that matter is there any other MLB period doing commercials? The answer is NO.

BUT you see plenty of NBA players and NFL players. Kobe, Shaq, D-Wade, KG, Dwight Howard, Reggie Bush and on and on. Where are the MLB players?

One of the main reasons you don’t see any MLB players is because they have zero personality. I don’t know who has the worst personality. A MLB or a golfer. A golfer will roll in a great 50 foot putt and barely smile!!

And when a interview is done with a baseball player, you would think their mom just died or their dog ran away or something.

There is only 8% African Americans playing MLB. And African Americans are not attending games. And blacks are not turning out for high school and college teams. The question is why?

Baseball needs to make the game MUCH QUICKER!! Have the pitcher pitch within 20 seconds. And stop the batter from stepping out away from the plate every pitch to fix there gloves etc. The four hour games are BORING!!!

Shout out to players like Jimmy Rollins (pic above) and CeCe Sabithia of the World Champs for doing what they do for the kids in the inner city with their foundations.

Maybe this might make young inner city kids interested in baseball again. A much quicker game. Gordon Curvey

P.S. There is no question that President Barack Obama is inspiring African American men. And whites too truth be told. But for sure black men.

It is for sure President Obama is leading African American young boys and girls to do better in school and get a quality education and stay away from drugs and out of gangs and even to enter politics.

I NEVER thought I would see a African American as President of the Untied States. But it has happened in my lifetime and I thing it is great to see.

Even though the right wing and Fox News folks like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck and radio hosts Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh want to attack President Obama day after day, the supporters of President Obama stand behind him and support him.

When ever I turn the TV on and see the President as a African American, I am very very proud. When I see the First Lady Michele Obama and the beautiful kids, I feel proud.

Is President Obama inspiring African American men AND LADIES? The answer is yes. We are not going to let the tea party folks and Fox News and right wing radio hosts change our opinions on our President. G.C.
