A collaboration unlike any other “Bassrock” is a new breed of music groups to come out the West Coast or the Northwest. Combining multiple genres into their music. “Bassrock” has been able to expand and develop their creativity.

Formed in 2009, “Bassrock” was brought together by current member and businessman “Factor”. Looking for new beats and a new fresh style, Factor stumbled upon a young set of aspiring producers and artists and writers by the name of “Cap” and “Chauz” aka “Citystarz” realizing how well they all worked together to make great music.

“Bassrock” began expanding their their talent and began putting on shows around the west coast. Big things are in the horizon for “Bassrock”

Child actor Gary Coleman died at the young age of 42 in Utah where he was living. Coleman had a lot of health programs growing up as a child and also had other problems.

Gary and Todd Bridges and Dana Plato starred on the show “Different Strokes” back in the day and the show was a big hit and made Coleman a household name. He and Bridges made a big name for themselves when Gary would say to Bridges “What you takin about Willis?”

Coleman had problems with his parents who he thought was spending his money he earned as a child. Of course he could not spend any of the money until he got of age.

It seems the show “Different Strokes” was cursed. Coleman had problems with his health and other problems. Bridges got hooked big time on crack and even sold it and spent time in jail. And Plato had serious drug problems and it took her life with a drug overdose. By the way, her son just recently committed suicide.

Bridges was just on Oprah and other talk shows because he wrote a book on his life as a child actor and his drug problems and other problems he had growing up.

And now Gary Coleman has died at a young age of 42. We at “Music Inner City” say rest in peace Gary and thanks for the laughs you brought our way.

We all know about the situation with mega-star Tiger Woods and his wife Elin.

You must have been on Mars or maybe the moon if you don’t know something about it.

It has been a real big mess. Brought on by Tiger and his womanizing for female to female to female to female. You get the picture.

I have said here on “M.I.C News Magazine” that I really do not care about Tiger’s love life. I just want to see Woods win events and catch up the great “Bear” Jack Nicklaus. I watch golf ONLY when Tiger is near the lead and I watch tennis ONLY when Venus and Serena is playing.

But I took notice the other day that Tiger’s wife Elin may want a whopping $750 million in a possible divorce from Tiger. Word is Tiger is only worth $600 million so how is this only to work out??? PLUS she wants the kids too.

To me that is VERY VERY greedy on the part of Elin if this is true. Yes Tiger was big time wrong, BUT Elin in my opinion is wrong too for asking for so much.

Man now this is a possible story readers IF it is true. Their is rumor that LeBron James mom, Gloria James had sex with Delonte West of the Cleveland Cavs. Yes James teammate on the Cavs.

And not only that King James mom might have had sex with ANOTHER member of the Cavs too and it is a prominent player on the Cavs.

IF this is true and again IF this a National Enquirer/TMZ stuff. I mean this is off the hook IF it is true because of how big James is as a national celebrity and sports star.

I will say this. I noticed the other day when the Cavs got beat down by the Celtics, I saw James walk off the court and kiss his mom. THEN I saw another Cavs player who I will not say also plant a kiss on James mom! I said what is up with that?

Hall Of Famer and one of the best little men EVER to play in the NBA, Calvin Murphy said recently every thing about Gloria James is true!!

I am very surprised that this story is not bigger than what it is truth be told. Nothing on CNN or MSNBC or Fox News or Entertainment Tonight and even ESPN. Don’t understand.

Readers have you checked out the reality show “What Chilli Wants” on VH1? About r&b group TLC member Chilli and her trying to find a man.

Well I watch it every week and I am telling you I have a HUGE problem with the show.

It seems Chilli is looking for MR. PERFECT. VERY handsome, big money, big car, perfect teeth, and on and on. What’s the deal Chilli? Why is it you need the PERFECT man?

What about a man who is not very handsome BUT treats her like a lady should be treated? And has a great personality?

On the show Chilli’s friend is trying to hook her up with this fella for her. But WHY is it the word ‘CUTE” has to be in the picture ALL THE TIME” What about just a real nice fella?

I am tired of these reality shows like “What Chilli Wants” and “Basketball Wives” and “Let’s Talk About Pep” where these sistas are ALWAYS saying “Girl………he is soooooooo cute!!!!” GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Again why does the dude have to be so cute? Again why is it a fella can’t be not so handsome, but is a very nice man.

It seems Chilli will NEVER find a man if a dude has to be on this platform. Yo Chilli come on down to reality girlfriend and take a real man who may not be Mr. Handsome. But just a real down to earth and a real nice man who truly treats you like a lady as the The Temptations sang.

Do you think ALL the members of Destiny’s Child will get together for one last time for a new cd or tour of the U.S and elsewhere? Well it could happen .

That means Michelle, Beyonce, Kelly, Farrah and former guest on Seattle’s own “Music Inner City TV” Letoya Luckett.

Man that would be off the hook and  for sure money maker for the group and for Columbia Records and for the music industry as a whole.

I have not heard to much from Farrah. Kelly has put out a few cd’s but truth be told, they did not sell well and Michelle has done well putting out gospel cd’s and Beyonce…………well we all know she has done very very very well in movies, singing etc. She is a triple threat in the entertainment business.

So in reality Beyonce has to lower her ego for the benefit of her child hood friends to be reunited and form Destiny’s Child again.

So let’s see what happens readers and see if Destiny’s Child will get together again. This time with Farrah and Letoya. Stay tuned and we will have all the news right here on “Music Inner City News Magazine”

If you are in the Seattle area you should already know that 12 year old Alajawon Brown was shot and killed recently for I guess being in the wrong place and was caught in a cross fire of about 20 to 25 shots.

This story is truly truly sad. A mom has lost her little boy and a dad has lost his little boy too. A grandmom or dad has lost their grandchild.

Young Brown had just bought some shoes to get ready to play football. He worked cleaning up a family members kitchen to earn $20 for the shoes. Now he is dead. This is truly sad.

Also in my opinion is a certain radio talk show in the Seattle area who had young Alajawan’s mom on his show to grab ratings or to build his ego. Also this host has done what we call “biting” in the hood.

I am the one who sent out a big e-mail to my list and to my almost 600 Facebook and Twitter friends concerning the killing of the young kid. I knew in the back of my mind that this talk show host would have the mom on his show. Well I was right.

This same radio host has never had me on his radio show to discuss my almost two decades of producing “Music Inner City TV” and I have asked him time and time again to be a guest on his show.

But since I have MY OWN radio show on 1150 KKNW (Friday night at 10pm) I do not need to be on this cat’s show. Bottom line is I AM A LEADER NOT A FOLLOWER.

Hopefully this same talk show host will make his voice heard concerning the KUBE93 Summer Jam where young kids will be in attendance to hear the “N” word a thousand times and all kind of language young kids should not hear.

In ending, my prayers go out to the family of 12 year old Alajawan Brown. One thing is for sure, 12 years old is to young to die. Let’s please stop the violence and increase the peace in our communities.

As a big boxing fan I was excited to watch the Mayweather/Mosley fight. It was a fight that boxing needs more of. All the stars were in attendance. Diddy, Paris Hilton, Donald Trump and even “The Greatest” Ali was their.

And what they saw was a boxing lesson by the undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Shane Mosley at 38 just could not deal with the speed of Floyd.

In the second round, Mosley connected with a great hook and for the first time in Floyd’s career he was really hurt.

But he recovered and after the second round it was all “Money” Mayweather. His speed was just to much for Mosley to deal with. Floyd is one of the greatest boxers of all time. This is for sure.

As a boxing fan, I really want to see a big money making heavyweight fight here in the U.S. But sorry to say, since England’s former champ Lennox Lewis retired, the Heavyweight division has been dead. No big fights of interest. This I feel is not good for boxing. And I don’t see a big Heavyweight fight happening soon.

Finally with “Money” beating Mosley, everyone wants to see a Manny vs. Floyd fight. This is a BIG money fight where Manny or Floyd can bank around $40 million. Let’s hope all the politics can be put to the side and let’s make this fight happen.
